PERFORMANCE
I am a movement artist of over a decade specializing in embodiment and intuitive movement. Utilizing the negative space around me with almost undetectable movement, I present myself as subtle nuances that together equate an entire sum.
I meticulously craft each piece of my work with a level of honesty, curiosity, and lack of inhibition, resulting in a creation that is purely mine. My distinctive movement quality often challenges my audiences by eliciting something intrinsically familiar, yet simultaneously foreign at the core of us all.
My pieces are fueled from surfaced materials produced from the duality of the subconscious mind and implicit memories of my body’s history, employing agency to filter through what is needed to confront, transform, and put back on my own reconstructed terms.
My work is informed by a background of my own lived experiences, pole dance, improvisation, exploration, and Butoh.
I am a founding member and Artistic Director of The Eternal Art Collective, a DMV based experimental movement and performing arts troupe established in 2022.
While our main form of outreach is through movement and its peripheral art forms, we embrace any and all positively transformative experiences that result in authentic self-discovery, realization, and integration.
The EAC'S mission is to provide transformation in all aspects of the human experience by providing a container for an expansion in self-discovery and connection to one self and one another, particularly during the creative and performance processes.
In 2023, we debuted our inaugural show “SEEN" as The Eternal Art Collective in Washington DC as the first pole dance and aerial arts troupe at Atlas Performing Arts Center, and returned in 2024 with“VISCERAL”.
We are currently working on our production of “ECHO” for July 2025.
